Universal Carrier MK1, Bren, Scout Fuel Tank Mount Kit

Available is a full, newly manufactured, set of the various fabricated brackets for mounting A PAIR of fuel tanks in Scout, Bren or Universal Carrier MK1/MK1*. All mounting brackets are identical for a MK2/MK2* carrier aside from the strap arrangement. MK2/MK2* straps/sets also available.

Brackets are CAD drawn from original patterns, laser cut and CNC folded from 1.5mm zintec sheet and are supplied UNPAINTED.

Included in this set:

• 4x CTL-12708 - Plate - Bottom - Pad - Joggled - Rear

• 4x TL-5007 - Plate - Pad - Bottom

• 2x CTL-5008 - Plate - Pad - Front

• 2x CTL-5009 - Plate - Pad - Rear

• 4x CTL-5010 - Plate - Pad - Fuel Tank

• 4x CTL-4997 - Short tank strap

• 4x CTL-4998 - Long tank strap

Not included in this set, is TL-2816 - Anchor Fuel Tank, Brass turnbuckle, or felt pads. If you require these, do get in touch or take a look at our other listings.

I have developed a tool to facilitate the forming of the loops in the straps and am able to perform this, as well as rivet your straps as required.
